Childcare voucher question

Hello,

I'm on maternity leave at the moment, so receiving my CCV, which my company pay directly to the nursery. My DD goes three schools days a week, and I have some time out with DD2.

Anyway, I have got DD1 a place at the nursery attached to the school she will go to, and that starts in September. It's fully funded. My husbands company use computer share, so thre is no issue with those vouchers, they will build up until I go back to work next February and employ a nanny. But, my work were funny about giving me the vouchers in the first place while on leave and I think they will be very difficult about letting me build up a pot of unused vouchers. Can it be a requirement that the vouchers have to be used in the month in which they are 'earned'? They do a weird thing with a homemade voucher and a BACS transfer... Anyway, would appreciate any thoughts!

Childcare vouchers can easily be stored up, all my families who pay me have amassed a huge amount between them, I have then been paid in sums to suit them each month when mum has returned to work.

One of my families is storing them up to pay for a PGL summer camp for their 10 year old!

You don't have to claim the whole amount, you can claim what you like up to £243.
