Hi I work as a staff nurse in a children's day unit looking after children under 12 with behavioural & emotional problems & do lots of family work. I'm also ttc atm, I have a 13 yr old dd & 2.8 yr old ds. I really don't like my work & find it exhausting. My plan is that if I were to fall pregnant then after mat leave I'm thinking about registering as a childminder & taking a career break. At work today a post came up in the over 12's which is broadly my work but completely different building, team & age group. I worked there when pregnant with my ds and really enjoyed it. I want to apply but my husband doesn't think it would be fair as I'm ttc. The post advertised is a ten month contract so mb that could work out well! Arghh I'm so so so confused as to what to do. Wwyd??

Can't see any dilemma really. If you were 6 months pregnant I could see where your husband was coming from, but you're not even pregnant yet!

Application e-mailed in so fingers crossed! Know your saying what's the dilema RM, NB & F but I'm due in 5 days and convinced I'm pregnant as always and just feel is it not a little bit bad to go to interview whilst knowing I'm pregnant? I may not be so that would be fine Confused
