Help! Need a second income

I am a self-employed music teacher so have quite a lot of practical/interaction type of work and plus it is a large instrument so altogether quite tiring to do many hours. I need to find a home based (probably desk based) role that would be flexible in terms of when the hours were put in but would be pretty reliable in terms of return. I am looking to earn roughly 6-12K per year extra.

My experience in other roles is pretty limited but I have a BA hons and A level in Maths Physics so a good all rounder.

I wondered if anyone reading this may be able to make some suggestions or point in the direction of further information online. Thanks very much!

No experience of them personally but what about one of these call centre outsourcing places? You work from home, you have to buy your own equipment (pc and separate phone line) and pay for training but you are self-employed and can pick and choose your hours.

DH has just passed the interview/assessments for one of these. He is giving up work to be a SAHD when I go back but this seemed like a good way for him to have an independent source of income and flexible hours.

He hasn't started yet so I can't vouch for it or say how much he earns etc.
