Ok, Ds now 9 and for the last 4 years I have had a couple of admin part time jobs current one working from home to fit in with school.

Found out today that getting made redundant in 3 weeks, (nice amount of notice) and feel the time is right to dust down and go and get a more sociable job where I might even speak to an adult during the day.

Heres the thing, before DS I was an operational manager in customer services for a bank with 100 staff, targets etc etc.

I need to write my cv and because I do not want such a responsible job to start with am finding myself completely under playing the level of the job that I had because I don't want anyones expectations to be too high of my capabilities, a lot has happended over the last 9 years and I am not the same driven person that I was back then.

But i do want a job with some sort of satisfaction and options if I choose to want more responsibilities.

Anyone else had similiar background and how did you deal with it??

Thanks in advance

I had a big job before my kids ....and told my sister that I really want to work on the tills in John Lewis (I love JL) so that I know what time I clock off....I can't not be there for my kids - my sister went crazy with me .....I think you should be honest in your CV - go for a job that you think will be rewarding but in the interview be honest about your expectations...re hours commitment - I had a very rewarding work experience day recently with a company I may work for in September - got a real, kick out of it but later that day couldnt find my son's inhaler and got really upset - its hard isn't it?
