Anyone else already dreading tomorrow morning?

...still 24 hours to go, but I'm already feeling sick at the thought of work tomorrow and I'm not even ft.

I quite like what I do. It's fairly interesting and challenging, as work goes. But wherever I work, I end up feeling like this. It's the politics that I can't stand. I seem to be hopeless at negotiating that without getting battered.

And I have Too Much To Do. I've tried telling my manager in a reasonable fashion but that doesn't seem to go anywhere.

I know we're meant to Love Working and Want a Career etc etc but I find all this so difficult, I would give up work in a snap just to avoid this stuff, if it were possible.

Does anyone else feel like this or is it only me?

I've been back at work a week and it's so depressing. Not my actual job, that's OK and there have been some good bits already, but I agree with the politics etc. It's like literally nothing has changed in the 9 months I've been off - the same arguments, the same rivalries and debates...it makes me want to scream! What a waste of your life, having the same discussions and conversations over and over, especially when I compare it to being at home with DS and watching him grow and develop. And I hate the treadmill of nursery pick-up - home - tea - bath - bed - get sorted for tomorrow. Ugh.

Puts food on the table though, I suppose. And DS LOVES nursery so at least I feel like I'm giving him something there instead of just taking him away from me.
