Working through the Olympics (or not)

OK it's getting close - in the not very distant future, travelling around London is going to take on a whole new layer of complexity. Lots of companies are making arrangements for people to work from home. Is your employer coming up with any new flexible working arrangements? Will any of them stick in the longer term? We'd like to hear what companies are planning especially if any of the ideas look like they might lead to a long term change in your company. Or maybe you're in a job where flexibility isn't on the cards? We want to gather the lowdown on family friendly flexibility for the Olympics :)

Ha! My employers think they are being oh-so-flexible by, um, NOT allowing anyone to work from home. Instead they are going to open the office for extended hours so we can all come in earlier and leave later. Except the official advice is to avoid my mainline station and tube interchange between 7am and 10am and again from 4pm to 7pm. So basically that means sleeping in the office, then...
