Returning FT, can I change my mind?

I am going back to work in September after taking 44 weeks ML and 10 weeks AL.
I'm going back full time, we want to save to get married and I know when we have DS2 in a year or two there's no way I'll be able to go full time again.

If I decide working ft is too much and I want to go part time, can I make a request or do I have to do it before I go back?

Thanks

Any parent with a child under a certain age (used to be 5 but I think it has increased) can make a flexible working request at any time. I don't think you can make more than one per year.

So yes, you can go back full time and then make a request at a later date.

Wrong. You must have served 26 weeks service.

Sorry should have said Sweet is right except it only applies to those with 26 weeks service. OP you have the right to request flexible working and your employer must consider it.

This is fine, I've been there 7 years.

Thank you Smile
