How two pick between two very different jobs?

So I am extremely lucky (after losing my very good job a few years ago) to be about to start with a ft job. However another company I applied for has just called to ask me to tge final stage for recruitment (after telling me sometime ago recruitment was suspended). This second company is one I have applied two in different roles a few times with varying success from not making preselecte through to final couple and not getting it. I delined the interview but am now wondering if I have done tge right thing.

She was gutted on tge phone said I had scored top marks throughout and she had fought tge freeze cause she wants me to work there.

The roles, company's, reputation, hours are polar opposites and my head is spinning I just don't know what to do for tge best. Help.

List the pros and cons. Salary, holiday/sickness/pension stuff, level of interest in the work, travel time to get there, stability/future of company, working hours, promotion chances etc etc.
And congratulations!

Which job do you want most?
No harm in going to the interview as they seem so keen. You may not get it after all even if this person wants you.
Then make your choice if you have a choice. It's not ideal but people do let down potential employers/leave immediately.

(it's "the" and "to", by the way, in case you need either at work.)

I think you've done the right thing in that you've accepted the first firm's offer in good faith. Second firm suspended their recruitment and so you were left with no choice but to look elsewhere. This is always one of the risks of recruitment, much like house-buying. Timing plays a major role in who's available at a given moment.

Your doubt, however, suggests that the second company would have been your preference if both had become available at the same time. Given they appear to be polar opposites, and presuming the second company's culture is more to your liking, how did you reconcile yourself to taking a job with company 1? (I'm assuming the usual 'need to put food on the table' reason, the same as the rest of us!)

Do you know why you haven't been successful at company 2 in the past when you've applied? I tend to think if they're that keen, let them come back with an offer, not a request to interview. No need to burn bridges with them, you can be suitably regretful about not being available, but surely dumping a firm after you've accepted their offer wouldn't paint you in a good light either.

Yy to the and to, brain was not awake, still isn't (god ft is going to be a shock to tge system)

I did say she was welcome to call me after I had been in role for a short while and she said she would defo do that.

I'm scared of making tge wrong choice. Tge second one would mean no childcare as it's all weekend, it's a job I can do as have lots of experience (at a higher level hence them being a little keen) and a staff perk I would like Wink

Tge second job is ft, I don't know tge systems, they offered me more money as keen to get me and seem committed to development and seem to have a better reputation re staff.

I need to work the money out but after childcare and school holidays vs perk I think it will be pretty much the same.

Is being home during tge week good enough if you are not there all weekend, especially when one dc is at school from sept?

Re tge other roles, they were not completely aligned to my previous roles but this one is so tended to have peopke with more relevant experience etc.

I find this freeonline priorisation grid useful for tricky decisions

So I decided to stick with the job I had accepted and did not call the other one. I have noticed today they have put the job back on their website.
