Hi
I'm 27 weeks preganant due to go on maternity leave next week, and I've had some time of sick receantly (some dc and some me!)
I have heard about the lower earnings limit that is used to calculate your smp and because my employer does not pay for any time off I'm now worried to wether I am entitled to smp or not?
I have been employed with them since 2004, and my aprils wage was £667 but mays is only £532 this includes up until the end of may does any one know?
I'm getting really worried now as because I am ill again and due at work tomorrow whats if I cant make it, the £532 earnings does not include tomorrow I would lose another £75 if off tomorrow?

Tomorrow will make no difference. SMP is calculated based on average earnings between weeks 17 and 25 of your pregnancy. The lower earnings limit is £107, so as long as you were earning that during those weeks, you'll be fine.
