Work in youth care?

I dont quite know where to put this so thought id give it a go here.

I have been offered voluntary work at a Center for Homeless Young people. Although i have experience working with children & have personal experience in homeless youths im not sure what id be letting myself in for. Id love to work in the sector where its helping people but if anyone out there has worked or does work with youths whether it be troubled youths or homeless youths, your comments would be very very appriciated. Thanks!

I work in this sector on the front line. I really enjoy it. I will never be a millionaire but it can be a lot of fun. It can be very demanding at times but really worth it. For sure give it a go. A lot of places are looking for bank staff at the moment and that can be a good route into a paid position.
