CV and covering letter question...

Hi,
I am just about to start applying for jobs, just retail based minimum wage types. Do I mention that I have a child? I have a large gap in my CV, so should I explain that this is because I have a toddler?

TIA

Don't worry about it in your CV or covering letter.
Just make sure that what you have done is fully detailed.

You can mention it when you go for the interview, if you think it's relevant (they're not actually allowed to ask if you have children etc)
