hi
Not sure if anyone can help but I am getting confused trying to work out what I will get monthly.
The job is 15hrs a week term time only and the full time wage would be 17644 - 18736 ( £ ) so what would I take home each month?
Hope someone can help me xxxx

You need to know what the hours are for a full time wage to be able to work it out.

To get a rough estimate divide the lowest wage amount by 52 to give you a weekly rate. Working on the assumption that full time is 37.5 hours divide your number by that. That gives you an hourly rate of around £9.05.

Term time only usually equates to around 38 weeks. Multiply £9.05 by 15 to get a weekly wage of £135.72 and then multiply by 38 to get an annual wage of £5157.50.

You can do the same to the higher amount to get a range but in order to be accurate you need to know the actaul amount of hours that counts as full time and the amount of weeks of term time. Hope that helps a bit!

Oh and then to work out monthly divide by 12. You then have to take out national insurance etc. Tax would depend on if this is your only job or not.

You also need to know what annual leave you are getting - let's say 4 weeks plus bank holidays (you will be paid for 38 weeks (assuming you don't work inset days - it would then be 39). So: 38 + 4 +1.6 (bank hols) = 43.6
So going with the lower end of the salary:
17,644/52.14*43.6=14754.09 per annum (1229.51 per month)
