I am really hoping someone can help me out there, I am working for a large pharmacy chain as a qualified dispenser. I am currently stuck on 15 hours per week, but have requested more hours from September when youngest starts school. I keep being told that the increase in hours are not available. I have also asked to start my nvq 3 training, but the company just keep saying that I have no chance as I only work 15 hours!! Does anyone know where I stand on this? My argument is that there is a history within the company with full time employees dropping out of this course as they are unable to complete the coursework while on full time hours, so to me it's a no brainer to accept me onto the course. Any help with this would be really appreciated. Thank you mumsnetters xx
