Two interviews tomorrow....I NEED TIPS PLEASE...

I was offered three positons tweo through an agency which i turned down..(long story) and another which doesn't start for a month.

The interviews were really just 'informal chats', so i wasn't too worried about them!

However i have an interview at 10.30 and also one at midday tomorrow. I always seem to sail through most interviews...but then i've never really had any 'toughies', or be rather stressed with home life etc.

Any tips..especially for questions such as ...

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time
What can you bring to the company
Why do you want to work for the company
etc etc.

I had to go out in November (xmas temp job) and get a job in retail which i really cannot abide. I am one of the only temps they have kept on but have reduced my hours to 4 per week! I'm not sure how to explain this in an interview..ie change of positon and salary cut.

DP was pushed out at work and is filing for unfair dismissal..hence me getting any job for food etc. He's got interviews lined up which could mean relocating...but i need something for now too!

The jobs are Shift Supervisor Receptionist (hotel) and Admin Support Co-ordinator (for huggies factory) .

Thanks in advance Ladies.

don't forget the organisation benefits of being a domestic engineer (SAHM)also the fact that motherhood has helped you mix with a whole range of people from different backgrounds and interests blah blah

give the impression that you are super efficient organised and enthusiastic (which I'm sure you are)

Good Luck

OK:

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time. Enjoying what I do and making a positive contribution to the company that employs me.

What can you bring to the company. I'm energetic, hardworking, reliable and ??? x, whatever qualities they're looking for.

Why do you want to work for the company
Make sure you've researched the co and
etc etc. and can say sometihng like "I'm looking for a job where I can really use my skills to make a difference and it seems from your ad that you're looking for x, which I have (explain where from), y, which I also have.

Other ones to prepare for are: what do you know about the company, why do you want THIS job? Why should I give you this job? Why are you doing what you're doing now? Describe yourself. What motivates you? What don't you like? What are your faults? Strengths?

The change of position and salary cut you could explain by saying you wanted to make time for getting a job you really wanted.

Good luck.
