Went to enquire about a part-time job today (nothing fancy, in a baked tattie shop 
) had quite a chat with the manager and some staff, got on well, asked me to come in next week for 4 hours, but I was too embarrassed (well I forgot but I would have been to embarrassed had I remembered!!) to ask if this would be paid or unpaid.
What is usual in these circumstances?
