Expectations on return to work?

I've been asked by work to prepare a document about my expectations on my return to work (I'll have been off over a year).

What is this supposed to be include?

I was thinking:

Intro into the team, new working practices, any new systems and software I need to learn. But I don't want it to sound like I want an easy ride and want to make it clear I want to take over my own caseload quite quickly

Then, particular areas of work I'm interested in. But I also don't want it to sound like I want to come back and pick and choose, I'll do anything (but also don't want it to come over as desperation).

Training I think I might need

Key contacts inside and outside of the organisation

Something about hoping to stay on the same work pattern I was on before.

I need to finish it by the end of the day! Argh.

i would put that you expect to return to your old job as it was on the terms it was (as if you have never been off), training on any new practices/policy/company/software changes that have occured over the last year including any new business/contacts that the company have acquired. that you expect not to be treated any differently than your work colleagues because you have had a year off. you expect a sufficient amount of time to build up your casework starting from the day you return to work.

Have you been off sick ?
I had to have meeting with my manager after being off for 3 months, but it was all about whether there was anything they could do to make life easier to ease me back in.
One aspect of my role is to present training, and we were revamping it all just before I went off, so one thing I asked was if I could watch someone presenting it, before I had to prevent it myself. I think my manager was pleased to have something to write down, to show they were supporting my return Grin. Is that the sort of thing you are looking for ?

I had additional time after my maternity leave.

I've put some things down, but no idea really what they are looking for. Meeting later (eeek). But, if it's all wrong I'll just say "OK, I'll rewrite my expectations in light of our meeting"...
