I've made my first sale!!

Feeling very excited that I've received my first sale on my new web shop at Etsy!

I've been doing these pictures for enjoyment, but before Christmas I sold a few locally so thought I'd give it a go more widely. Loved setting up my shop and now someone in the US has bought one!

Ah, thanks wobsw! I hope so. It's never going to make me millions, but it's a nice little sideline and keeps the creative juices flowing!

Well done - it is great when you get paid - not necessarily the monetary value but it is an indication that you have achieved success from something you have created from nothing.

I still can't believe it when I get paid to do my parties - I like being able to take all of the credit from my advertising, website, customer relations and then when they pay me with a smile and a thank you.

Congrats! That first Etsy sale is pretty special! Suddenly you think, "People might actually want the things I produce!". It's a brilliant confidence booster, and I'm sure it's well-deserved : )

Well done! I also have an Etsy job selling baby stationary and pictures. I set up in April and it's going quite well, though sadly not well enough to leave work. One day, hopefully!

Well done! I sold 1 thing, last year and was over the moon. I've not been able to dedicate any real time to it though, but eventually I'd like to have a self funding hobby.
