I've got a ton of questions I need answering and because mine and dh job is so weird I think they might be the only guys who can give me the info I need.

Certainly they can. If your positions are really unusual, you could ask to speak to the benefits specialist.

Are the benefits specialists at the CAB too?

Do I need to call my local CAB or is there a national line?

Where are you?

Nbg · 03/02/2006 13:26

Barnsley, South Yorks.

I've just typed it in and comes up with all the local branches so I've got the number for the one here.

Check to see if your local branch has a benefits specialist. You will have to see a general adviser first and you may find that they can answer all your questions. However, if things are very complex, their benefits specialist will be able to help.

Ok, will give them a call me thinks.

Thanks very much

Just to say they might also have an employment specialist, esp in barnsley.

if not they should be able to send you somewhere else.

there is no national line, all cabx are independent charities.

Maternity Alliance has had to close due to a lack of funding.
