I had a second interview 2.5 weeks ago and they did say it would be this week tgat I heard and so far nothing....for everyday that passes I am feeling less confident.

Come and share tge wait with me.

This is for a ft job, they don't know I'm on may leave and I really want to work there as there are some great benefits and I can easily do the job. Although I previously worked at a much higher level Nd they did ask me about this during the interview I felt pretty good, until this week. I don't want to go back to my old job

Me too. I'm awaiting two outcomes. The first interview said I would hear back in a couple of weeks (which was Monday this week). I called, left a message on voicemail. Not heard back. The second one told me they'd be making a decision on Monday.

Have you called them? I would. I am in two minds as to whether to call the first one again on Monday. By then it will be three weeks - they told me they would 'definitely' be in contact. So I am unsure. Probably means a no, but I'd like to think they would have the courtesy to advise on the outcome, even if it is negative.

Fingers crossed for you too. I can't believe companies don't call back when you are unsuccessful at interview, so rude.

I might call on Monday and give them another chance Wink. Got dd's party on Sunday morning and dh is at work on sat so not much hope of doing much this weekend.

I would call them this afternoon to be honest. Sound likely you have been unsuccessful, but if on the off chance they have not made a decision, you are at least re-iterating your interest.

I know they have finished for tge day now, it's early doors on a fri. Believe me they were under no illusion about how strongly I felt about working for them. I'll try on Monday but won't get my hopes up Sad

Any news Skinnyjeans? I heard back from both of them over the weekend. The first one who seemed to be ignoring my phone call, said they would be in touch whatever the outcome by the end of this week - they've only just finished the interviews. So good to know i am still in the running....not sure though that I want it now! The second one wrote to me asking me to put together a kind of action plan, so I have been working on that over the weekend and will submit it today. Fingers crossed it knocks their socks off.

That's fab news.

I have a similar story, I called yesterday and they have called me back today to say sorry they are stil interviewing and will let me know as soon as they have an answer. So still in tge running and keeping fingers crossed.

I'm so impressed that you managed to get to interview stage. My baby brain is preventing me from successfully filling out a job application. I read one back yesterday, even I couldn't understand what I was talking about.

HateBeingCantDoUpMyJeans · 04/04/2012 18:58

Grin @ mostlyupbeat. It takes a bit of practise to get back in the swing of it. I was using one I had previously done so just had to jazz it up a bit.

I've had a call today though from an old colleague advising they have a job coming up and could I send my cv next week (is tgat classed as headhunter Grin )

Still not heard from the interview

Any woo gonna spend the weekend on my cv, it need to be completely overhauled for this job eck !

mumbaisapphire · 05/04/2012 15:24

I got good news - the second job, who wanted me to submit an action plan, offered me the job, and I accepted. Still not heard back from Job No. 1. Think I am going to drop them a line and withdraw my application.
