Hi, I have applied for a job but need a CV. I have not worked in a job with a contract in over 10 years. I have been a SAHM for 10 years and have raised three children. I have worked PT on and off for a few years, doing a couple of hours cleaning here and there. This is where it gets tricky: I cannot remember any dates, company names and one job I was sacked from Blush (for not selling enough, sales was STRESSFUL!) this job is PT as a receptionist and I will be fully trained with computers etc. Does anyone know of any good websites for CV help? I am trawling through and have no idea what is/is not good advice. Also worried about SAHM and what to say about it, Thanks.

being a SAHM you will have GREAT organisational skills.
Write your CV highlighting things that show off the skills that are in the job advert.
If the period you can't remember everything is not relevant to the job applied for put various cleaning jobs and the dates from and to. - then if they ask about it or need references you can give for the ones you can remember.

The style of CV recommended in this book How To Write A Perfect CV In A Weekend by Sarah Berry would be good for your situation as she uses a skills-based model.
