the jobcentre cannot force me to anything... is that correct?

as ive been signing for over 6 months amd i used to sign on every 2 weeks but now its every week and they are trying to get me in an sort of agency work place to get me a job

Surely the very nature of "Jobsekkers Allowance" is that you should be seeking a job? Why don't you want a job from an agency?

Oh right! I think you have to go along with some sort of effort to be looking for one though. I guess you could turn up to interviews looking all scruffy and stinking of booze?!!!

From what I know - you get home responsibilities protection when you claim child benefit, so do you need to be claiming JS allowance contribution?
