I am a self-employed seamstress, i used to subcontract for the local tailor. he was a one man band and i was foolish in being lenient with him on paying his bills.
he took longer and longer to pay then cheques started to bounce - tried for 6 months to work out ways with him to clear the debt (it got so his business was so bad the only income he had was from my alterations work so i couldn't stop working without him stopping paying me)
so eventually he went out of business, i now have a county court judgement against him for the outstanding 200 hours! labour he left in arrears and he has admitted the debt - even offered to pay £100 a month but nothing has come of it...
so eventually i sent in the bailiffs, now they can't get access and have informed me there is another ccj that will take precedence too.
felt awful going through the courts then even worse at sending in the bailiffs - i'm not that kind of person but he's hiding his head in the sand hoping it'll all go away and not communicating.
what next??
can't really afford to pay out anymore in court fees without knowing if i'll get it back
any suggestions?

Moneyclaim online costs £25 and is all electronic.
Ignore what the bailiffs said.
Once I got my judgement I sent an email requesting payment in cash delivered to my house.
Three days later I sent it again.
Three days later I sent it again.
Then I sent this

"Please accept this message as confirmation that I will be visiting your premises at my convenience to collect cash to the value of the amount owed (£330) or goods to the equivalent resale value.
As stated to I will bring helpers with me to carry any goods collected if cash is not available. "

The cash arrived at my house 24 hours later

The friends I had in mind are rather large and would only have wanted a couple of beers for sitting in a menacing manner in the premises and wrecking their income for the day.
