I was told I will get an answer early next week (as in this week) but I still didn't hear anything back. Shall I wait until Monday before sending him a nudge mail or shall I do it today.

What should I write in my mail ?

Unlikely you've got the job, I'm afraid, but yes, i would definitely email or call to chase this up.

I would assume you haven't got it tbh and email to ask for feedback

Agree they probably would have been in touch to offer it you by now though, they may be waiting for the 'winner' to accept before turning down the runners up.

You are not their first choice, obviously. It's possible though that the front runner is umming and aahing about whether or not to take it, so you might be in luck. But I wouldn't be getting my hopes up.

Well I emailed him and he still doesn't know as he is really busy. He apologized for not getting back to me earlier as he promised.. so I still don't know !
