I got a call today from them requesting a meeting to discuss my joining. I'm meeting with the person next week but I am trying to find out the real deal, rather than the propaganda!

Also, how much does it cost to join? I can't find anything on their site about membership fees but some chatter on some boards indicates it's not free!

We are, but only because we get our credit card machine cheaper!!! Its not a huge amount and they have some handy insurances for tax inspections etc..

£120 ish
and I am because of the free banking and access to free legal advice
(and I'm sneaky - I'm the member so both my companies are covered)

Yes - it applies to the individual, not the company - there are alot of other benefits too (I haven't used them though). About £120 sounds right - it depends on your turnover and increases accordingly!!!
