hi i'm not sure if i'm in the right topic are but here goes....
i've been off work for 2 days now with really bad back and pelvis pain, i'm waiting for physio next week for SPD,i know i can use a self sign certificate to cover me for this week my concern is if i don't feel any better by thurs fri and i go to doc will she refuse me a sick note, my doc can be very funny sometimes very reluctant to give any meds ,referrals etc you have to beg and beg, i'm wondering what do i do if refused sick note and still not feel able to return to work, never had to have one of a doctor before i'm 35 so lucky escapes so far

The doctor shouldn't refuse you a sick note - detail to her the reasons why the pain would stop you from doing your job. If she refuses then just ask to see another doctor.
