Appriasals & Objective Scoring

Just wondering if anybody else agreed with me before I took this up with HR?

Had my appraisal recently. I had been given 3 objectives the previous year

Objective 1 - worth 20%, I got 'achieved'
Objective 2 - worth 10%, I got 'achieved'
Objective 3 - worth 60%, I got 'achieved plus ..." (so a better score)

My boss said therefore my overall score for the year should be 'achieved' (because 2/3 obejctives were this score) and not 'achieved +' as only 1 x objective was this score. I argued back that this objective was actually worth 60% whereas the other 2 were only worth 40% combined but he wasn't having any of it and wouldn't change my score?

What do you think? Should I leave it and not cause a fuss or should I seek advice from HR (or my boss's boss?). Bit concerned about causing a fuss as i'm going on mat leave in the summer but I worked my butt off to get that extra mark for the higher weighted objective?
