What's involved in peddling your wares at festivals, around the world or within a single country? How do you get started? Is it fun?

My daughter would like to spend a year travelling from one reggae festival to another, not with a vadge full of weed I hope, but would need to fund it.

Huge costs, hellish organisation and little (if any) profit unless you are one of the major players. Not sure if it would be a viable option really... just my experience.

Does she have to work in the festival itself? Could she work around that? Teaching english? Picking fruit/vegetables? Bars? Anything else? Id contact some student type organisations or google same. Selling in a festival, contact the organisers before and ask. Or rock up with your tie dye/bracelets and see what happens? Hold a machete and hack melons in half? Least none would attack her with that on show.....!

Brilliant idea! Life's too short.

I travelled the world several times on the seat of my bottom and enjoyed it muchly. I now pedal my wares (baby clothes) at UK craft fayres. Not so much weed or vodka but fun all the same. Not much money but a great way to meet folk.
