third time asking HR about provision to bf at work and still no response!

I go back to work in 3 weeks. Today will be the 3rd time I have spoken to HR about this, and I keep getting told that someone is looking into it. I did inform them in writing mid-January. Any advice about what I can do if I don't get a response? It is a NHS trust, and some in-efficiency is not unexpected, but to have to ask 3 times for this to be addressed is ridiculous!

Do you mean you want to breastfeed or to express milk? Is someone bringing the baby in to you?

To express and store the milk. I will be doing long shifts and will need to pump during the day. The trust official policy states that they will provide both, but in reality, no one seems to know much about it... Maybe it's something few women ask for and they are unused to providing it, but I'm getting frustrated with how disorganised they are being! What else can I do apart from contact HR every few days chasing the issue?

Escalate it upwards, who are you talking to? Start with the HR director, then contact union.
I work in nhs by the way, might be in the policy, but that doesn't mean they've organised anything. Are you doing long days? Is there anywhere in your area you could suggest?
