Where do I start - Help! Need to get another part time job

Ok this is where I stand I have worked for my Dad for 8 years, and I feel very unconfident applying for a job even though I have worthy skills

I work for my Dad 3 morning, and my little girl is not in nursery yet so anything extra would be paid childcare

I dont see how working all day can work and I will lose my salary from my Dad but I can work when my husband gets home from work about 6pm.

I dont care what I do - but have no idea where to start.

All the jobs on the jobcentre seem very old and properly 1001 people have gone for one job

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

Hi twincrazy, have you considered doing a party plan type job? One reason I started my own business with Usborne was due to the flexibility. It fit into family life perfectly around my then existing part time job and I could take my DS with me to toddler groups, play groups, play barns etc.

As my DS has grown and he is now Yr 2 school I have been able to increase the amount of work I do and the time and days.

I have found it to be very friendly and sociable "on the circuit" and have even built a small team. You ae self employed and earn commission, but there are no targets so you basically earn when you work. I love the books - they are great quality and very varied as there are over 2000 in the catalogue! Check your DD's bookcase - you might find a few!

Happy to answer any questions. PM me!
