Hi all I'm just starting out in trying to do some proofreading /telephony/editing type work from home and have signed up with the above website. Can anyone advise if they have had success with it?
Many thanks

Hi

I've won a little work from it, but the odds aren't that good. Lots of people bidding, lots of clients going for the lowest bidder....but at least it is work!

I posted previously about my experience/tips. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/freelancers/1326332-peopleperhour-com-anyone-use-this-Help-me-with-my-first-bid-pls

Good luck
WS

I've used it to find PR and a translator for my small business, I think it's great. I know the PR lady I use makes a living on there. The people who run it are really cool too.

I have used people off the website before to assist with transcription. I didnt necessarily go with the lowest bidder but with the experience on offer. Money definitely well spent.
