Doing CV but don't know what to put.

I'm on the verge of resigning due to bullying/pressure/crap job in general. It's been on the cards for a while but came to the boil today and I walked out but haven't actually resigned.

So, brushing up my CV after 9 years in the same firm and 23 years as a legal executive.

I need to do 2 CVs, one for legal jobs (tho' don't really want to do it any more, it's the only thing I'm qualified for), and one for low grade admin type jobs.

Does anyone know what I'm supposed to say under the Profile and Key Achievements bits?

I can manage on the legal one by saying that I have loads of experience, qualified bla bla bla, but what about the other one? If I was honest I'd say under Profile that I'm a knackered, almost 50 year old woman who is sick of doing divorce law and wants to sit in an office with little pressure, and don't mind making tea and filing and being paid peanuts. How can I say that in an attractive way??

Ta in advance.

Oh mumbles Sad
I'm pretty much in the same boat, looking for a job but the huge negative for me is that I've not practiced for 6 years and doubt anyone will want me Sad

Don't do low grade admin jobs, you are better than that.

Why not say that you feel it is time for a change and to expand your experience? that is the of bullshit I've just put on my cv.

I don't really want to go back into family so am thinking about employment. Did employment as one of my Part 2 (showing my age now!) and am currently doing the Practice of employment law (level 6 - really don't understand why its level 6) via ILEX in the hope I might get a job doing something in HR as there is a bit of a crossover.

What about your wills, can you not build up on that?

(((hugs)))

ps, issue an IT1 and claim constructive dismissal Wink

What would you like to do, ideally? Not realistically?
