I am employed pt and currently on maternity leave, during my stat maternity period my fixed contract cones to an end. If they want to end it how much notice should they give? As I will have been there for over a year is it as simple as no new contract? I know I will continue to get my maternity pay but not sure what tge up to date answers are to my questions.

Tia

If it's a fixed term contract with an end date it's usually more of a question of 'will they extend it?' rather than 'will they end it'.

Have you checked your contract for details of termination/extension?

If they would have otherwise extended it they can't choose not to do so because of your maternity leave.

Tbh not worried that it will be because of my mat leave, but due to funding for my role really. Thanks flowery
