I have an idea, but that's it. What do I need to consider and how do I get started? How much is it gonna cost me to get started?

Any advice gratefully received tia

I've used the free version of Serif, which I find quite easy to use. It has its limitations, but then it is free.

I can't speak for Wordpress but Serif quite like Powerpoint.

You can download free templates for wordpress and get lots of free support online. They have SEO plugins also and other little plugins for you to customise your site. There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get it, you do find it really easy!

Get a book like Building websites for dummies if you need support on the jargon. Otherwise to pay somebody would depend on the complexity of the site. I can build simple wordpress sites that allow the owner to update it when they like and I would charge around £200 - £500. Hope this helps!
