Hello, I wonder if anyone can tell me how to format this please?
Is it my address right, theirs left or visa versa. I think I will be ok with the content although any tips would be appreciated.

I intend to write to local private schools with my CV so would I be addressing it to the head master?
I would be grateful for any hints but particularly how I should format my letter. Thanks

Your name and address vetted athe top.

Their name and address left justified

Double return and the date

Double return and "Dear xxx"

Centred not vetted!

If you're in Microsoft Word, rather than opening a new blank document, when you click on 'open', select template - they have loads of templates in there including letters like these.

Your address on right hand side, addressee's on left. The idea is you could fold the letter and their address would show in a window envelope.

Ah I see, thanks Smile
