3rd round interview on tuesday! Wish me luck!

Have been a SAHM for 7 years. Been looking since last June. Had one interview immediately in June itself which went spectacularly badly. This is the next place that's called me.

Really want the job - I can do it and it's exactly what I wanted. Flexibility isn't there but dh is in a place where I can work from home if he wants so between us we can manage, hopefully. (Got 3 dc's)

So, wish me luck please!! And any tips, it's with the CEO as he has the final hiring decisions. It's an small internet startup developing a website and has a few products and my role is in testing the website and seeing that the products are up to spec.

Good luck SweetGrapes!

Just focus on how right you are for the role, and how your skills and experience make you the very best person for them. Don't raise any childcare issues unless they ask about them (yes, I know they're not supposed to, but in my experience small orgs don't stick to the rules quite at tightly as they should), and if they do say (as you have above), that you have thought them through and have plans in place to deal with unforseen emergencies - then use this as a demonstration of your commitment to the role, your flexibility and problem solving skills!

let us know how you get on

Thanks! Had the interview today. They didn't ask a thing childcare related. very professional and proper...

It went well - he said I was the strongest canditate but they have reservations whether I will fit in the company culture as it's a very new one with not many employees and mine have all been much bigger. I went blah blah on this - but am not sure if I was convincing enough!
Anyway, had a very interesting discussion overall and my confidence is boosted up loads. Even if I don't get offered, I am happy!! Smile
