DH has just been offered a great job with a big pay increase. Only problem is company is based in France and we have just found out that the employment relationship would not be with them but with a third party who they have a contract with.

This makes us both uncomfortable for lots of reasons mainly what happens if his 'employer' goes bust?

Anyone have any experience of this? Is it usual for European companies to operate this way?

You need to seek legal advice about the implications of this. Companies set up all sorts of contractual systems for different reasons, that goes for British companies, too. But get sound advice before signing.

Thanks for replying. Will def seek legal advice as I am really not comfortable with it.
