What do working parents do with their kids during school holidays?

Hi,

I have a 4 month old daughter so this is not an issue for me yet but I was wondering what people do with their children during the holidays if they are employed?

Thanks

Pre school, private nursery, childminder or nanny. Private nurseries are all year round. For a childminder/nanny if they have school age children of their own, you'd have to discuss with the individual if holiday periods are an issue.

Once they're at school, look for holiday clubs in your area. Use them with a combination of childminder/nanny/GPs/friends.

My local leisure centre does an excellent holiday club from 8-6pm and takes childcare vouchers.
