Journalist Twitter Help?!

I tweeted a journo a thing I have done for a local charity, she said to send her the details. But as she is not following us, I can't DM her the details and I can't tweet the images to her as they will appear on her twitter feed, right? I've asked her for an email via our DM as she can follow us and we are folowing her.

Am new to all this, any ideas? Am I missing something?
