Am i still entitled to maternity allowance again it i became pregnant whilst on mat leave.

can somebody please help me.
in august this year i went into early labour at 32 weeks.sadly we lost our baby to an illness.I am on mat leave till may 2012 and have been told we can start trying again for another baby.im just wondering if i became pregnant now whilst on mat leave an went back to work in may 2012 once my mat leave ends would i be entitled to maternity allowance again when i go on mat leave again.

Depends on your earnings during the qualifying period. It's the same criteria as normal SMP/MA obviously only the SMP/MA counts as your earnings if your not receiving enhanced pay.

If you get enhanced pay then you need to check to see if you'll get this again.

I've no idea but the directgov website have a calendar thingy that can work it all out for you.
