Did everyone (except me..) notice that HMRC mileage allowance went up to 45p in April?

My accountant just pointed it out to me and said lots of people seemed to have missed it, so thought I'd post it here.....

Even if you've claimed expenses you can claim the difference on your next expense claim.

I hope they pointed it out to you in March !!!!

My year end finishes in March and I changed accountants because my last one was crap, and this is exactly the sort of thing he never notified his clients about! (hence the change)

My new one would've pointed it out, I'm sure, but this is the first time he's seen my accounts since March (I do most of it myself)
