It will be the first time il be leaving DD full time and wont be 5 mins away in case of emergency. Really dont want to, dreading it in fact. You back at work then?

Yeah go back full time on the 3rd ... like you really don't want to do it - not gonna be far away for if i need to get there quick sharp and have chosen a nursery I agree with wholeheartedly but it doesn't make any of it any easier ...

i go back on the 3rd too. i'm totally dreading it. especially since shes really started to get attached to me. cant even leave the room without her crying. passing her to someone else i got no chance!!

I was talking to my mum about it and she thinks new regulations have made it harder for us mums as we now have to leave babies as they are little people whereas before we were left at 9/12 weeks and didn't really do much!

I don't envy you blonde girl - ds isn't that attached although he does shout for me if he wants me but he's never really been put down for long and has certainly never been left to cry ..... I don't know who I feel most sorry for - him or the nursery!!!

Another "back to work" here.

She's been to the childminder for two half days and likes it.

Feel a bit weird about it, but also quite looking forward to it. She's been so whingy the last few days, I need a flippin' break!

I know what you mean - my little one went to his dad's on Christmas day only to be returned in floods of tears 30 minutes later .... turned to me and grinned all over his face - wouldn't mind but he's only 5 months!!!!!!!!

Nursery will do him and me the world of good I know that but I will miss him like mad!
