Any party planners held joint parties with other different party planners? Any good?

Just debating whether to organise a drop-in Xmas shopping night.

Do you think it's an idea to have a few people from a variety of companies? Was thinking Pheonix Cards, Pampered Chef or Jamie, Kids toys etc - thinking guests can buy different presents, cards etc all in one evening.

Do you think i'd be successful or would I loose my sales etc to the other companies. I sell Neals Yard Remedies.

Can't decided whether its a great idea or completely stupid!!

Maybe you could team up with another local mum that is a beauty therapist, i've done this before and it worked quite ell, you can get them to use your products for some of the treatments too.

I've done complimentary products. I sell usborne so happily link up with Pheonix. I would not be so happy to link up with someone who has an organised 2 hour pitch. The last Jamie at home party I went to was like that.
