Can anyone recommend an umbrella company?

Hi there, I'm new to contracting, and about to take on a 3-6 month job. Ideally it will be nearer the 3 month mark, and I'll find a new, perm role in the new year. As it is one contract, and a short period of time, I am thinking umbrella co. not Ltd Co.

But I've never done this before and have no idea who to go with - any recommendations as to who you've found good, who you'd avoid?

This is what I would do:

If you got your contract via an Agency, then aproach them.

Or, look for forums based on your field and post query there.

Or, google 'popular umbrella company', ring up the top 3 and interview them.
