Warehouse operative interview - suit or what?

DH is applying for jobs after a few years self-employed and SAHP before that.

The question is what to wear for interview (assuming one ever comes up)? Should DH wear a suit or something else eg chinos?

All thoughts welcome.

I'd say shirt, trousers. No tie or jacket. Smart without being overkill.

Most people in warehouses wear a uniform of polo shirt and trousers. Not even much management these days wear a tie or jacket.

even much = many ..... oh I really should get shot for that one.
