I am hoping to move from childcare practitioner to lecturing in early years and childcare - I have not job searched for many years. What format of CV is used nowadays?
Thanks

2 options - skills based or chronological. Where would you be looking to teach? The FE/HE sector are fairly traditional so the chronological format is probably preferred, plus it highlights qualifications which is obviously a key consideration in teaching jobs.

On the other hand skills based could emphasise experience mentoring/training etc.

Thanks, Fraktious. What concerned me is that CV fashions seem to change every few years - or am I wrong? I would be looking at FE/HE so will go with the chronological format.

incidently lots of HE/FE use their own applicaiton forms so it may not be an issue
