Mat leave and pay question!

Hello, this might be a silly question, but I'm currently half way into my maternity leave and not planning to go back to work. When I hand my notice in will I have to repay any of my mat pay? I recieved 6wks 90% and statutory pay for the rest. Thanks!

Not statutory but rest of maternity pay usually depends on contract - someone wiser like hairylights ,flowery etc will confirm

You've only received statutory maternity pay so no payback required on leaving. Just give your contractual notice.

I'm an HR Manager. You have onlly received stat payments so nothing to pay back. As a manager I would always ask employees to give as much notice as possible if they do not plan on returning, even if this is more than the contractual
