Part time/evening/weekend work advise....................

Hi, does anyone know any retailers that will give you an above contract for more than 4 hours at the weekend and some evening work?
Everyone I've approached wants to give no more than 4 hour contracts. I just want to earn some cash, but want to make the travelling to work worth it.

I used to work for Asda 12 hours a week, my friend also eorked at Tesco evenings & weekends(think she did about 10 hours)

My boyfriend works at PC World (Dixons group) and he works an evening 5-8 and then Saturday and Sunday so 16 hours a week. I used to work in a care home who had weekend staff who worked 16 hours a week.

I think its very much down to the individual management as to how many hours they give you so its worth just keeping asking.

Supermarkets are good for part time work above 4 hours, I used to do 20 hours at safeways, evenings and weekends

Dh used to work at Tescos 2 nights a week and all day Sunday.

I work 24 hrs a week at local asda evenings and weekends to split childcare with dh rather than trying to pay a childminder.

I do 16 hours in Wilko's of an evening. 4 shifts a week, 6-10 weekdays and 5-9 of a saturday.
