Does anyone work in this area who can tell me a bit about what it's like? I would love to get into the charities sector, and I think fundraising is probably the most relevant to my current job, but wondered if it is a case of the grass being greener.
Is it a prerequisite to have the Diploma in Fundraising? I was thinking of doing this, but am reluctant to spend nearly £2,000 only to find out that nobody will look at me without experience and that I should have concentrated on getting experience rather than qualifications.
Any input greatly appreciated.
