Life is so unfair

I just took 3 staff on - they start next week

Today I lost 2 contracts which equal a third of my work

I'm going to have to give those staff notice as soon as they start, if they are even prepared to start

Life is so, so, so unfair

Thanks; I feel so bad. My options are fairly crap:

? Everyone takes a 25% cut in wages; not really fair or equitable as there are new staff.

? I give new staff notice. They might

a)If they agree to work their notice then we might have new contracts start before they leave & they might stay.

b)If they agree to work their notice then we might have new contracts start before they leave & they might leave anyway.

c)If they refuse to start, we refund the contracts the money for the notice they have given us (which is massively unprofessional)

? Keep quiet, say nothing (not very moral & I can't consider it)

? Something else???? Any ideas???
