I have worked within Local Government for 8.5 years and have resigned from post to take up another post within a neighbouring authority on a term time contract.
I have received a copy of my new contract today stating my starting salary but I can't work out how they've arrived at the quoted amount. My understanding is that as I have over 5 years of Local Government Service then I am entitled to 91.93% of the full time salary, and for purposes of sick pay, maternity pay and redundancy pay, my service will transfer with me. Is this correct?
